Maple Breakfast Sausage Sandwich

What You’ll Need
- 1 lb. Prairie Fresh® Maple Breakfast Sausage
- 16 waffle quarters
- 8 eggs
- 8 slices of your favorite cheese
- 1/4 cup spicy maple syrup
Directions
- Slice the Maple Breakfast Sausage into 8 even patties and fry them on medium low heat for approximately 5 minutes per side. When an internal temperature of 165 degrees has been achieved, let the sausages rest in a warm area.
- Place a non-stick sauté pan on medium heat and use a little spray release to fry each of the eggs sunny side up. Hold the eggs with the sausage patties.
- Remove the waffles from the warmed oven and cut them into quarters. Place a quarter of a waffle on 4 breakfast plates.
- Follow with a sliced of cheese. Top each slice of cheese with a fried eggs, then the sausage patty.
- Top each sandwich with the pieces of waffle quarters.
- Serve the sandwiches with spicy maple syrup.
