What You’ll Need

  • Prairie Fresh USA Prime® pork tenderloin
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • Vegetable oil (for pan frying)
  • Prepared mac & cheese

Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 2 ½ tablespoons rice vinegar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

Directions

  1. Pat the outside of the pork tenderloin with a paper towel.
  2. Cut pieces about 1 ½ inches wide.
  3. Place the pork pieces into a sealable bag and beat down until the pieces are about ½-inch thick.
  4. In a separate bowl, add eggs and milk. Mix well.
  5. Put breadcrumbs into a bowl.
  6. Dip pork into the egg mixture and then the breadcrumbs.
  7. Place a large skillet over medium/low heat and add enough vegetable oil to cover the base of the pan.
  8. Heat the oil for a couple of minutes, then add the pork.
  9. Cook each side for 3-4 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145 F or golden brown.
  10. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  11. To make the honey garlic sauce: in a small bowl, mix water and cornstarch then add to a small pot and place over low/medium heat.
  12.  Add onion powder, soy sauce, honey, light brown sugar, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt.
  13. Cook for 5-8 minutes until thickened.
  14. Place the pork over prepared mac & cheese, drizzle on the sauce and enjoy!
